Scarborough, Tobago – Dr. Denise Tsoiafatt-Angus, the political leader of the Innovative Democratic Alliance (IDA), is urging the installation of better lighting along the Claude Noel Highway to prevent future road fatalities.
Her call comes just days after 24-year-old Rolisa Cooke was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle while crossing the highway near Agostini Insurance Brokers in Lowlands. Dr. Tsoiafatt-Angus highlighted that this incident is one of several similar fatalities in recent years, underscoring the urgent need for infrastructure improvements to enhance public safety.
