March 10, 2025 – Earlier today, women of the protective services took to the streets of Scarborough in a powerful demonstration to mark International Women’s Day, which was celebrated on Saturday. Other women who were lucky enough to meet the women in uniform were treated to chocolate. Inspector Mahalia Bacchus of the TTPS, who coordinated the event, said the theme was “embracing equality.” Two officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment also shared their thoughts about the event and offered advice to young women.
