Extra safety measures needed before reopening Scarborough Secondary School and Lambeau Anglican Primary School
Orlando Kerr, Assistant Secretary for the Division of Education, Research, and Technology, provided insights on the air quality issues at Scarborough Secondary School due to an oil spill. Continuous air quality testing is ongoing at Scarborough Secondary and Lambeau Anglican Primary Schools. The Division of Education has authorized the reopening of these schools on Wednesday after addressing concerns about the hydrocarbon substance. Deep cleaning of both schools is scheduled for completion by the end of the week, followed by an inspection on Sunday.
