June 6, 2024 – As part of the World Environment Day activities, the Environmental Management Authority (EMA) today officially launched the ACE-Space Platform. ACE stands for Action for Climate Empowerment, an initiative operating under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Reyad Mohammed, an officer from the EMA, explained that the ACE-Space Platform will serve as a central, public, and accessible repository for all information related to climate action in Trinidad and Tobago. This initiative aims to enhance public awareness, education, and participation in environmental efforts, fostering a more climate-resilient society.
