The IDA believes Tobago’s economy has worsened under the current THA administration.
Scarborough, Tobago – June 6, 2024 – Kaye Trotman, Public Relations Officer of the Innovative Democratic Alliance (IDA), asserts that Tobago’s economy has worsened under the current Tobago House of Assembly (THA) administration.
Despite the THA receiving a historic $2.8 billion from the central government – the highest any administration has ever received – Trotman contends that there is still no clear pathway shared with the people of Tobago on how they intend to fix the economy. Her comments highlight a significant concern regarding economic management in Tobago and the perceived lack of transparent strategies for the island’s financial recovery and growth.
