Vice President of the All Tobago Fisherfolk Association, Junior Quashie, is warning fishermen to be cautious of rough seas and high winds if they plan to venture out. According to the T&T Met Office, seas are moderately rough, with waves ranging from 2.5 to 3 meters in open waters and 1 to 1.5 meters in sheltered areas. Quashie is urging fishermen to take the warning seriously and follow the necessary precautions. This warning comes as fishermen continue to face challenges in receiving assistance from the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard when they are in distress.
