Man shot in Parlativeur
Alvin Daniel, also known by his alias “Sargie”, was shot and subsequently died in Parlatuvier this morning, bringing the murder toll in Tobago to 22. This comes as the island continues to battle with a surge in gun violence. According to initial reports, around 5:11 am, residents reported that they heard loud explosions. Upon checking they found the two victims in a silver Toyota noah suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the Roxborough Hospital where they were medically attended to. Daniel succumbed to his injuries. He was transported to the Roxborough general hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Daniel was on his way to work with a female passenger in the vehicle when gunmen fired several gunshots at his vehicle. Relatives described him as a good straightener and a family man. Moreover, relatives are also for better policing to handle the ongoing crime situation on the island.
