Poultry farmers complain about not accessing the cold storage facility at TADCO.
Scarborough, Tobago – Pro Farms Limited owners, Shakeel Potts and Latricia Oneil-Potts, are calling on the Chairman of the Tobago Agribusiness Development Company (TADCO) to improve the company’s cold storage facility.
The farmers shared with Tobago Updates that they were turned away from the cold storage unit twice, preventing them from accessing the facility to store their produce. This incident highlights a significant challenge for local farmers, as a lack of reliable cold storage can impact the quality and shelf life of their products, affecting their profitability.
