September 3 2025 – The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has officially released the 2026 exam schedule, providing students, parents, and educators with essential dates for the upcoming examination cycles.
The timetable covers the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC), Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE), Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence, and the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment.
The January CSEC exams are scheduled to run from January 5 to January 29, 2026. The main May/June exam period will begin on May 4, with both CSEC and CAPE exams starting simultaneously. The CSEC exams will conclude on June 9, while CAPE exams will wrap up on June 16.
A notable development is CXC’s ongoing move towards digital assessments; all January examinations will be conducted electronically to enhance efficiency and accessibility.
Students are encouraged to visit the official CXC website to download the full exam timetable and begin their preparations.
