Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The Ministry of Culture and Community Development has announced the appointment of Surujdeo Mangaroo as the new President of the National Council of Indian Culture (NCIC).
The announcement was met with congratulations from the Minister of Culture and Community Development and the entire ministry staff. With nearly three decades of service to the NCIC, Mangaroo is recognized as a staunch advocate for the promotion of East Indian culture in Trinidad and Tobago and internationally. His leadership has been instrumental in the advancement of the Indian diaspora and its cultural significance on the national stage.
