Free Digital Literacy Program to Boost Tobago Economic Resilience

July 22, 2025 – In Tobago, a bold new initiative is aiming to reshape the island’s economic future, moving beyond its traditional reliance on tourism and firmly into the digital age. A key partnership between the Kiwanis Club of Scarborough and Bismarck Technology and Learning Institute has officially launched a free digital literacy program. The primary goal of this initiative is to equip hundreds of residents with the essential skills needed for tomorrow’s job market, fostering greater economic resilience in Tobago.
