In an effort to make education more accessible and convenient, the Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute (THTI) hosted a pop-up registration station today at the bustling Port Mall. This innovative initiative was designed to fast-track the application process for prospective students interested in enrolling in both degree programmes and short courses. From early morning, THTI representatives were on hand to guide walk-in applicants through registration, offer career guidance, and provide information on the institute’s diverse offerings, including hospitality management, culinary arts, tourism studies, and a range of professional development short courses. According to THTI officials, the goal is to reach individuals who may not have the time or resources to visit the main campus, and to meet potential students where they are, right in the heart of the community. THTI plans to host similar outreach events at other high-traffic locations in the coming weeks as part of its national drive to attract new talent to the growing tourism sector.
