Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The Ministry of Health has reported another death from dengue fever, bringing the national total to five. This confirmation came from Minister of Health, Terrance Deyalsingh.
As of July 24th , there are 450 laboratory-confirmed cases of dengue across Trinidad and Tobago. Notably, only one case has been reported in Tobago so far. Minister Deyalsingh stressed that state agencies are actively working collaboratively to reduce the mosquito population. He also urged the public to clear any sources of standing water on their premises, emphasizing that preventing mosquito breeding is crucial in controlling the spread of the dengue virus.
