July 9, 2026 — Forty-eight students from Goodwood Secondary School are seeing their classrooms a little clearer tonight following a transformative healthcare and educational outreach initiative.
Through a collaborative public-private partnership between the Save Eyes Everywhere (S.E.E.) Foundation, the Massy Group (via the Massy Foundation), and the Trinidad Eye Hospital (TEH), the students were fitted with and presented brand-new, customized prescription eyeglasses free of charge. The intervention addresses uncorrected refractive errors among youth, directly eliminating vision barriers that impede learning, reading comprehension, and overall classroom engagement.
