Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds has confirmed that several of the nation’s Coast Guard vessels have successfully undergone repairs and drydocking services and are now back in operation. Speaking in the Senate today, he reported that two Austal vessels recently completed drydocking in the Dominican Republic and rejoined service within the past few weeks. Additionally, two of the six Damen vessels have also completed repairs and are now operational. Meanwhile, the National Security Minister noted that Tobago’s borders are currently being patrolled by one Coast Guard vessel. Hinds also assured that, despite several vessels awaiting repairs, the borders of Trinidad and Tobago remain secure
