African Emancipation Day is celebrated annually on August 1st in Trinidad and Tobago. It is a public holiday where many participate in events that commemorate this special day. This year was no different as the streets of CrownPoint came alive. Tobago Updates’ Bianna Brebnor was in Crown Point and got the views of some patrons about what African Emancipation Day means to them.
