Watson Duke: Hackett Failed In Education And Is Unfit To Lead Tourism
September 18, 2025- Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) Political Leader Watson Duke has criticised the sudden reassignment of the Tourism, Culture, Antiquities, and Transportation portfolio within the Tobago House of Assembly. The portfolio has been temporarily assigned to Education Secretary Zorisha Hackett.
Duke argued that Hackett has not delivered effectively in her role as Education Secretary and is therefore unfit to take on an additional portfolio. He also issued a warning to Tobagonians regarding the reassignment. The THA has yet to provide an official explanation for the decision.
