Amid escalating violence and crime in Trinidad and Tobago, Preston Trim, a community-based activist and owner of Trim’s Treats, took a stance. He organised a walk against violence, beginning from Canoe Bay and concluding at Store Bay. The event garnered participation from over 20 individuals representing diverse backgrounds in Tobago. Notably, Kamika Forbes, goalkeeper of the National Women’s Senior Team, was among the participants.
Event organizer Trim said despite not having the turnout he anticipated, he wanted to send a message to criminals. Head coach of the Brother Ry Football Academy urged Tobagonians to get to being our brother’s keeper.
