Augustine explained that the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) conducted the removal exercise in accordance with laws and regulations governing illegal vending. His statement aimed to provide clarity and context for the TTPS’s actions, which had resulted in the demolition of some vending structures and the temporary displacement of vendors.
