T&T facing challenges with child labour
Minister of Labour speaks out against child labour in T&T.
As World Day Against Child Labour is being celebrated tomorrow, Wednesday 12th of June, the Minister of Labour Stephen Mc Clashie says that the nation still faces challenges with child labour. The Labour Minister shared that the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey done by the Central Statistical Office (CSO) in collaboration with UNICEF in the year 2022 highlighted that 4.3% of children between the ages of five and seventeen are involved in child labour.
