August 8, 2025 – In a significant step toward digital transformation, the government of Trinidad and Tobago has launched new online services that allow citizens to pay traffic tickets and request certified copies of vehicle records. This initiative, part of the Ministry of Works and Transport’s “Driving Toward Transformation” project, is designed to reduce long lines and provide greater convenience.
Citizens can now request and pay for certified copies online and have the documents delivered to a preferred location via TTPost or a TTConnect Centre. Similarly, the Judiciary’s CourtPay online portal allows for the payment of traffic tickets, court fines, and public health fixed penalty notices. These systems are aimed at modernizing processes, saving citizens time, and reducing the burden on physical government offices.
