Members of the THA go to Ghana on Trade and Investment mission
Councillor Tashia Burris, secretary for the Division of Culture, Tourism, Antiquities and Transportation, has joined a national delegation to participate in a trade and investment mission in Accra, Ghana.
This mission is headed by Trade and Industry Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon. The mission was organised by the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association and ExporTT. This delegation consists of 21 companies from the food and beverage, apparel and textiles sectors, among many others. Trevor James, secretary for the Division of Infrastructure, Quarries and Urban Development, the Tobago Chapter of the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and trade-related state agencies are also a part of the delegation. The mission started on the 12th of March and will end on the 17th.
