TPP Says One Of Their Mandates In Parliament Is To Settle Long-standing Land Tenure Issues

If long-standing land tenure issues aren’t resolved, proper diversification in Tobago cannot be fully achieved—so says Chief Secretary and TPP political leader Farley Augustine. He explained that for generations, Tobagonians have been unable to invest in themselves or contribute meaningfully to the island’s economic growth because they haven’t obtained legal titles to the lands they occupy. Augustine said addressing this issue would be a top priority if the TPP was elected to Parliament.
