Tourism Secretary & Ministry Of Tourism Deny Cruise Ship Calls Were Canceled Because Of S.O.E.
Despite newspaper reports, both the Tourism Division and the Ministry of Tourism have denied that the cancellation of two cruise ship calls was directly caused by the declaration of the state of emergency (SOE). Reports suggest that other factors contributed to the cancellations of visits to Scarborough. However, the SOE has led to some cancellations of visitor trips to Tobago.
