The Division Of Food Security Enhances Wildlife Management Through BIOREACH Training
The Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment, and Sustainable Development recently underwent a two-day Integrated Wildlife Management Training conducted by the BIOREACH Project in Trinidad and Tobago.
The training, featuring instructors from international organizations, covered both theoretical and practical aspects, including classroom and field sessions. Participants included Forest Officers, Game Wardens, members of the Fire Service, TRWRP representatives, and hunters. The primary goal was to enhance the capacity to manage wildfires effectively and promote sustainable forest management practices. This initiative highlights the division’s commitment to advancing knowledge and skills for responsible natural resource stewardship.
