Scarborough, Tobago – July 25, 2025 – A key shuffle today in the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), as Chief Secretary Farley Augustine makes a strategic change to his executive team. Assemblyman Wane Clarke has been elevated to an executive council post.
Clarke officially took the oath of office today, becoming a Secretary in the Tobago House of Assembly. According to a media release from the Office of the Chief Secretary, Clarke will lead the Division of Community Development, Youth Development, and Sport, effective Monday, July 28, 2025, the Division where he currently serves as Assistant Secretary. In a corresponding move, Assemblyman Megan Morrison has been reassigned to serve as the new Assistant Secretary alongside Clarke, effective Monday, July 28th, 2025, transferring from her previous Assistant Secretary role in the Division of Health, Wellness and Social Protection. These appointments aim to strengthen key developmental portfolios in Tobago.
