Tobago Business Chamber disappointed by the lack of a meeting with the cop during her official visit to Tobago
The Tobago Business Chamber has voiced disappointment with the Commissioner of Police (COP), Erla Harewod-Christopher, for failing to meet with them during her official visit to Tobago.
As the sole registered business chamber based in Tobago, the Chamber highlighted its active engagement in various aspects of the island’s business landscape, including providing pre- and post-budget recommendations and liaising with national and international organisations. Despite this involvement, the Chamber noted the absence of a discussion with the top Cop, particularly regarding rising crime rates on the island, expressing hope for rectification of this oversight by the Commissioner’s office in the near future.
