March 28, 2025 – With the State of Emergency (SOE) set to end on April 13th, Commissioner of Police Junior Benjamin is ramping up efforts to rid the streets of illegal firearms. In collaboration with Crime Stoppers, he aims to remove 100 illegal guns before the SOE expires. This initiative, part of the Gun Removal Programme, offers cash rewards for anonymous tips leading to the recovery of illegal weapons.
