The Steelpan is now officially T&T’s national instrument.
Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago – The steelpan, one of Trinidad and Tobago’s most significant cultural inventions, has been officially declared the nation’s national instrument. This pivotal step was achieved as Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts Randall Mitchell presented the “National Instrument Bill 2024” at yesterday’s House of Representatives session.
