Responding to an inquiry about the project’s overall cost, Secretary James indicated that providing a definitive figure would be premature. He explained that the Scarborough Development Plan remains in an undefined stage, making it currently impossible to arrive at a precise cost. Regarding total expenditure, inclusive of feasibility studies, designs, and other related expenses, James confirmed that these initial costs had been incurred, but a comprehensive project budget was yet to be determined.
