Scarborough, Tobago – The minority council has spoken out about the increase in crime on the island following this morning’s murder of Nickesha Sandy in Plymouth.
Minority councillor Petal Daniel-Benoit and Minority Leader Kelvon Morris extended their condolences to Sandy’s family and the family of Shellon Joseph-Walters, who was murdered last weekend. They also called for a unified, all-Tobago effort to combat crime, stressing the need for the island to confront its escalating crime challenges together.
