The Ministry of Education Extended the School Supplies and Book Grant Deadline to January 25th, 2025

The Ministry of Education’s School Supplies and Book Grant 2025 Deadline Extended to January 24th 2025. Finance Minister Colm Imbert announced the measure in September’s reading of the national budget. The 1000-dollar grant aims to assist financially disadvantaged students in primary and secondary schools. To determine eligibility, the Education Ministry is conducting a means test for parents/guardians earning $10,000 or less, students with disabilities, and those receiving grants from the Ministry of Social Development. Applications must be completed online. Required documents include a verification letter, student’s birth certificate, medical evidence (if applicable), utility bills, and proof of income. The Ministry noted that only one application per child is needed and approval is not guaranteed.
