The EMA advises the public to stop indiscriminate dumping
The Emergency Management Agency via a media release advised the public to stop indiscriminate dumping sharing that they have received numerous reports of members of the public illegally disposing of liquid waste material. The EMA noted that people have been using unmarked road tanker wagons to illegally dispose of liquid waste material into watercourses and open land spaces in remote areas. They pointed out that indiscriminate dumping promotes the spread of diseases resulting in environmental degradation.
