August 26, 2024 – As crime remains one of Tobago’s priorities, Senior Superintendent Rodhill Kirk discussed the collaboration between the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) and other arms of national security in securing the island.
Regarding Tobago’s borders and the entry of firearms, Superintendent Kirk said that while the TTPS cannot stop people from Trinidad from coming to the island, they have been working with external agencies to enhance security. His comments underscore the TTPS’s reliance on inter-agency cooperation to combat the inflow of illegal items and ensure the safety of Tobago’s communities.
