The Division of Education opens school registration for migrant Venezuelan children.
Scarborough, Tobago – The Division of Education, Research and Technology announced that the registration process for migrant children would begin today [referring to a specific date in 2024, as the registration for September 2024 school year started June 25, 2024].
The division advised parents to go to the School Supervision Unit of the Division of Education at the Dutch Fort Plaza to complete the registration process. This initiative aims to integrate eligible Venezuelan migrant children into Tobago’s school system, aligning with national efforts to provide educational access. The registration is a crucial step for these children to begin their academic journey in Tobago schools.
