Scarborough, Tobago – June 6, 2024 – The Tobago House of Assembly (THA) today received vital wildfire-fighting tools and equipment from the Biodiversity and Agroecological Land Restoration in Productive Landscapes of Trinidad and Tobago (BIOREACH) Project.
The equipment was officially handed over at the Shaw Park Complex as part of a special program hosted by the Environmental Management Authority (EMA) and the THA in honour of World Environment Day. This initiative aims to enhance Tobago’s capacity to combat wildfires, contributing to both environmental protection and community safety on the island.
