Scarborough, Tobago – October 8, 2024 – Tobago West MP Shamfa Cudjoe today accused the current Tobago House of Assembly (THA) administration of not being accountable for how budgetary allocations are spent on the island. Speaking during her contribution to the budget debate, Cudjoe defended the THA’s allocation for fiscal 2025, stating that the Assembly needs to manage what is given and continue serving the people.
Her comments highlight a significant point of contention regarding the THA’s financial management and the need for greater transparency and accountability in the use of public funds for Tobago’s development.
