TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE SIGNAL HILL GOVERNMENT PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS
Scarborough, Tobago – January 18th, 2024 – The Division of Education, Research and Technology (DERTech) today announced the early dismissal of Signal Hill Government Primary School due to immediate health and safety concerns.
In its steadfast commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of staff and students, DERTech has actively collaborated with the Public Health Department of the Division of Health, Wellness, and Social Protection to promptly address the identified issue. Consequently, the school will remain closed tomorrow, Friday, January 19th, 2024.
DERTech expresses gratitude for the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders during this temporary closure. Further updates on the school’s reopening status will be communicated over the course of the weekend.
