Shaw Park, Tobago – The Tobago Agribusiness Development Company Limited (TADCO) has announced a significant new partnership with the Down Syndrome Family Network (DSFN) of Trinidad and Tobago. This collaboration marks a major milestone with DSFN now establishing a permanent retail presence within TADCO’s showroom in Shaw Park.
Deonecio Salazar, CEO of TADCO, expressed his delight at DSFN’s acceptance of the invitation, emphasizing the importance of such partnerships in promoting social responsibility and inclusion within society. This initiative provides a dedicated space for DSFN to showcase products and engage with the public, fostering greater awareness and support.
Natisha Charles-Pantin, Secretary for the Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment, and Sustainable Development, highlighted the partnership’s long-standing nature and its potential to expand into other areas of collaboration. Charles-Pantin also urged members of the public to show their support for people with Down Syndrome by “rocking their socks” on Thursday, in observance of World Down Syndrome Day.
She further encouraged individuals to visit TADCO’s showroom, where proceeds from the purchase of these specially promoted socks will directly benefit the Down Syndrome Family Network, furthering their vital mission of support and advocacy for individuals with Down Syndrome across Trinidad and Tobago.
