A suspect has been held in connection with a robbery that occurred in Tobago on Friday morning.
According to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, around 9:30 am, a businessman placed a green side bag containing cash and other valuables on the counter in a roti shop located at Milford Road, Crown Point, next to the cash register.
A male customer then entered the roti shop and requested a roti. The businessman went to prepare it. Upon returning, the customer threatened the businessman with an object and demanded the bag.
