March 17, 2025 – Stuart Young was sworn in as the 8th Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, succeeding Dr. Keith Rowley, who resigned at midnight on Sunday. The swearing-in ceremony took place this morning at the President’s House in Port of Spain. In his first address to the nation as Prime Minister, Young pledged to lead with integrity, accountability, and inclusivity.
