Cove Eco-Industrial Park, Tobago – February 12, 2024 – Frustration is mounting among workers involved in the Tobago oil spill containment mission, as existing oil booms placed around the wreckage in Cove are failing, allowing oil to continue escaping into the sea. While larger oil booms are expected to arrive in Tobago imminently, the slow pace of the containment efforts is a source of deep concern for those on the ground.
