SIDS4 conference in Antigua

Government leaders prepare to attend 4th Small Island Developing States conference in Antigua.

All eyes will be in Antigua next weeks as world leaders convene for the fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4). The aim is to deliver a bold new plan of action to build the resilience of 39 small island nations in tackling the world’s most pressing challenges and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Trinidad and Tobago is classified as a Small Island Developing State, and decisions taken at the conference directly affect the country’s ability to access climate justice financing and climate resilience assistance.
