Sherra Carrington-James Honoured at CAPSS Biennial Conference in Grenada for Contributions to Education
July 31, 2025 – Tobagonian, Sherra Carrington-James, was honoured at the 30th Biennial Caribbean Association of Principals of Secondary Schools (CAPSS) Conference in Grenada for her outstanding contributions to education in the Caribbean. A former President of Trinidad and Tobago’s Association of Secondary School Principals, she was recognised for her visionary leadership, including spearheading the successful 2021 CAPSS Virtual Conference and founding the professional learning platform, Thoughtful Thursday. Carrington-James was praised as a transformational leader whose work continues to uplift education across the region.
