The National Commission for Self Help Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Kelvin Frith, claims that his primary role and responsibility is to acknowledge the significance of the commission’s mandate in alignment with the division’s and company’s mission. He was speaking at a cheque distribution ceremony where 60 applicants received grants.
Frith states that the ceremony aims to highlight a fresh development in the commission’s activities and its mandate for the people of Tobago, irrespective of their place of residence. According to Self-help Limited’s CEO, the company is committed to altering lives via the creation of small- and large-scale infrastructure, to assist people in need.
Melissa Morris, the chairman’s representative, remarked that this initiative is crucial as it prioritizes residents, particularly those affected by natural disasters and other devastating circumstances. The grants are aimed at assisting the applicants to conduct small repairs and assistance through emergency repair constructions.
