P.M. Dr. Keith Rowley says the claim for oil spill compensation dropped from US $30 million to US $23 million

Claims for oil spill compensation have dropped from 30 million to 23 million US dollars. Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley revealed this information last night during Tobago’s edition of Conversations with the Prime Minister. He stated that they are actively working with the International Oil Pollution Compensation Funds for money to cover expenses associated with the Gulfstream oil spill. However, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine complained that the THA was not part of the conversation.
