Dr. Keith Rowley Announces Renewed Sandals Negotiations for Tobago
March 17, 2025 – On the eve of his exit from office, former Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley announced renewed efforts to bring Sandals to Tobago. The resort chain abandoned plans in 2018 after public outcry. Speaking at Saturday’s opening of the new airport terminal, Rowley called it his biggest disappointment as Prime Minister but said he remained hopeful for a successful second attempt.
