Scarborough, Tobago – The Tobago Autonomy Bills are currently in Parliament, and the present Tobago House of Assembly (THA) administration has not yet expressed its support for them. However, Senator Anil Roberts has affirmed the United National Congress’ (UNC) unwavering support for any decision the THA administration makes regarding the island’s autonomy.
Roberts emphasized that Tobago must have the right to determine its own course. His comments highlight the UNC’s position of backing Tobago’s self-governance, regardless of the THA’s final decision on the bills.
