16 Students From Latin America And The Caribbean Are In Tobago To Conduct Training In Protecting Underwater Cultural Heritage

The launch of the Project for the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage in the Caribbean took place today. The project sees sixteen university students from across Latin America and the Caribbean training in Tobago, and exploring the ship wrecks in the Scaborough harbor. This initiative is being facilitated by the the International Program for Maritime Heritage of the Cultural Heritage

Agency of the Netherlands and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in collaboration with the Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation. Reporter Kandace Jackson has the details.
