Principals Ordred To Stick With Current Textbook List For New Academic Year
As the 2025-2026 academic year approaches, the Ministry of Education has issued a clear directive to all school principles across Trinidad and Tobago: do not alter the current textbook list. In a memo sent out to primary and secondary school heads, the Ministry emphasized that no textbooks are to be added, removed, or substituted unless official written approval is granted. This move is intended to maintain consistency in classroom instruction while the Ministry undertakes a comprehensive review of the national textbook system.
